Professor Enita Nakaš graduated from the Faculty of Dental Medicine in Sarajevo. She received her master’s and doctoral degrees in the field of orthodontics. Prof. Nakaš’s master’s thesis is a clinical study that studied the prevention of unwanted effects of fixed orthodontic therapy. After passing the specialist exam and several years of clinical practice in orthodontics, she defended her doctoral thesis, which dealt with the study of tooth movement during the use of drugs – bisphosphonates (clodronate).
He teaches at the Faculty of Dentistry in Sarajevo, and is a visiting professor at the Faculty of Dentistry in Trieste (Università degli studi di Trieste) and at the Faculty of Dentistry in Naples (University of the Study of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli).
She is the editor of the international journal South European Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Research (SEJODR). He is a member and reviewer of the editorial boards of several scientific journals, as well as organizational and scientific boards of professional and scientific gatherings and congresses. He is an international lecturer in the field of orthodontics, jaw joint, and growth and development of the craniofacial system. He is the co-author of five books and more than 40 original papers in international scientific journals.
She received her education in Zagreb (Croatia), Boston, Tucson (USA), Bologna, Milan (Italy) and at numerous seminars and conferences in the field of jaw orthopedics-orthodontics.
Her area of work is orthodontics for children and adults, treatment of inflammatory and painful changes in the temporomandibular joint, especially juvenile idiopathic arthritis, impacted teeth, facial and jaw clefts, occupational stress and bruxism.
