Specialist examination
A specialist examination at the Apolonija Dental Clinic consists of a thorough medical and dental examination analysis. We approach patients and therapy planning individually and we consider the patient’s long-term health well-being.
The specific course of the specialist examination will be tailored to the patient, however it always involves a clinical examination, a detailed aesthetic analysis of smiles and faces, 3D scan of the teeth, and analysis of radiological 2D or 3D images of the jaws and teeth.
Scan and image analysis
With a 3D scan of the upper and lower jaw, orthodontic diagnostics are performed on each patient which includes: a set of photographs of the face, smile and teeth, an orthopan and an LL craniogram on which a cephalometric analysis is performed.
Our goal is to look at the masticatory system as a whole through an analysis of bites, smiles and functional diagnostics and determine the best course of therapy.
Proprietary radiology laboratory
Our clinic has its own radiology laboratory equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. Therefore, we can take all the necessary images for our patients.
3D CBCT diagnostics
We are especially proud to be able to offer our patients highly sophisticated 3D CBCT images and 3D diagnostics.
Most of the teeth and surrounding structures are not visible to the naked eye, even in ordinary orthopaedic images. Thanks to 3D diagnostics, even the smallest parts become visible and no irregularity of the jaw or teeth can go unnoticed.
Professor Lauc is a lecturer in the field of specialist orthodontic and implant diagnostics as well as the author of numerous publications in the field.
Planning orthodontic therapy

In the Apolonija Clinic we apply all types of mobile and fixed orthodontic appliances, including Invisalign, a transparent orthodontic appliance.
We are also able to provide full orthodontic therapy with all the necessary dental procedures, from regular conservative dental medicine, to very complex surgical, implantology, prosthetic and aesthetic procedures.

In addition to our orthodontic therapies we issue an 18-month warranty after wearing a retainer.
If teeth return to their previous position during the specified period, in part or in full, all additional orthodontic appliances are covered by the cost of retention.
