Half a century of tradition

Apolonija was founded on the half-century tradition of private practice, the application of the most modern technology, and the continuous improvement of all branches of dentistry. These are the foundations on which we still build and systematically improve our work today.

The beginnings of dentistry

Dr. Mira Jukić Lauc founded a private dental practice in the late 1960s, which was located in Zagreb at Ilica 19.
After many years of working in clinics in Switzerland and Germany, Dr. Jukić Lauc decided to maintain the principles of Swiss and German dentistry and individual care for patients and their families in her practice.
Since its founding and throughout its many years of operation, the Dental Office of Dr. Jukić Lauc has introduced the most modern technological procedures into everyday practice and has become one of the most significant private dental offices of its time.
The Apolonija Dental Polyclinic as we know it today continued to be built on its principles.
At the end of the last century, with the opening of society and the establishment of new social and business freedoms, the need and possibility of forming an institutional form of a dental institution that outgrew the framework of dental offices appeared.
The Apolonia Dental Polyclinic was established, which was able to introduce new levels of services and specialist care for its patients, which, thanks to its good reputation, became more and more.
This has enabled the Apolonija Dental Clinic to develop and expand its activities while maintaining the principles on which it was founded. The beginnings of digital technology in dentistry were made available to patients in Croatia through the systematic improvement of technology used in everyday work.

Dentistry for multiple generations

Our patients are the center of attention and we devote maximum time and knowledge to them. In this way, we provide continuous long-term and reliable dental care.
Many of our patients are already the third generation of their families coming to the clinic. Considering dentistry as a whole allows us to choose the best treatment method for each individual patient.
We want to give our patients security and confidence in our services because they give us the trust that obligates us to have a permanent and successful dental treatment.
Satisfied patients who no longer have dental problems and fears are the best evidence of a doctor’s care, this is the goal we strive for and are guided by in our daily work.
